About this Session:
From the website: “Scrivener is the go-to app for writers of all kinds, used every day by best-selling novelists, screenwriters, non-fiction writers, students, academics, lawyers, journalists, translators and more. Scrivener won’t tell you how to write—it simply provides everything you need to start writing and keep writing.”
Lisa has been using the program for awhile now and is happy to show others what she has learned – in case anyone else is interested in the program and how it can help them organize their writing.
About our Presenter:
Lisa Lacey Liscoumb: This will be Lisa’s sixth Muskoka Novel Marathon and you would think she’d be used to writing about herself in the third person by now. Nope, not so much.
An avid reader, wine aficionado, and self-described geek, Lisa has been writing for as long as she can remember. Even as a kid, she would make up backgrounds for and stories about complete strangers who crossed her path – usually something involving murder, or alien invasions, or both. She has several file folders full (and try saying that five times fast) of her early works, which she hopes no one ever reads but that she can’t bear to part with.
When she’s not writing or working as an IT Business Analyst for Canada’s leading luxury retailer, she enjoys photography, binge-watching stuff on Netflix or Amazon Prime, and geeking out at science fiction and fantasy conventions as the head of The Button Brigade, which produces fannish and pop culture buttons.
