Note from Kathleen:
This will be my seventh Novel Marathon, and my second time participating online. As the world was being swept by COVID, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. My life looks very different now, as does my writing - both how and what I write. In past years, I would hunker down in a nest on the floor of the Writing Room, ploughing through the hours and racking up the wordcount, stopping only to refill my coffee or go for a short walk. Now, I happily concede to my body and work in short spurts at home. And, well, home is where the dog is.
